About Unite for Nonviolence
Unite for Nonviolence helps create a safer, more just world through kindness, understanding, and the everyday practice of nonviolence. We’re organized as a for-profit for simplicity, but our purpose is to serve the community, and at least half of all profits are donated to nonviolence-related causes.
At the heart of our work is The Movement — a growing effort to encourage and support the practice of individual nonviolence in daily life. Right now, that spirit is carried through Unite for Nonviolence FM, an online radio station sharing music and conversations that remind us how nonviolence can be part of everyday living. Earlier projects have included community conversations, high-school essay contests, and two books — each a small part of the same Movement toward a more compassionate world.
